Little Miss Genevieve

Oh how sweet she is....It is baby season and sweet babies are abundant. Genevieve is the first of the season with four more to come in the next few weeks....
Look how perfect her little face is..

Wendy and Nick are a past bride and groom. I so love that I was able to capture the love they share together and now together with baby Genevive. Wendy promised to let me come back for more Genevive love....Can't wait for her upcoming sessions!







I loved Mac the dog and he is loving his new baby as well....He even snuck in some lovey dog love kisses for her . So cute!

Amanda and Joe

Amanda and Joe are beautiful people. Pretty and almost perfect it seems on the outside. You won't tire of looking at their pretty faces......



It is the inside you will want to know. They are real. Real as in what you wish you could be...Who you hope your children will be....Surrounded by love of friends who are just as kind. Who give just as much.

Four years ago Brian and I had the privilege of going through our adoption process with Dawn and Mike Husnick. They adopted Sammy a perfect boy from China and we adopted Zachary a perfect boy from China. Our Journey adopting these boys from China had changed who we are. God's hand has been on this process the whole way.

It is their Daughter Amanda who I never had the Chance to meet who married Joe-

My faith no secret to most, It is important in this story as it is who I am....I Am a Christian. A believer in Christ. A follower of what I Believe is the greatest job of all ...to have faith, to love purely and give with out limits, to trust when you are unsure.

I fail that part alot... the trust ...you see I like to control...This summer work has been abundant. I feel blessed but unsure...My kids have been top on the list for so long....

However after just two nights with Amanda and Joe and the joy surrounding them with gifts of prayer and love from family and friends i am renewed in my faith in where my family will grow in Christ.

Both the Husnicks and the Hofbauer families are an amazing group who have raised amazing people. By far this wedding was the one that touched my heart the most...
It was God's hand on it all that was apparent to all who know them and their faith.

Just when I thought this busy wedding season was too much time away from my much loved biological and adopted Children ...God showed me how fulfilling my job is ... how much I can gain from my chosen career. I see the joy of love, the sacred ceremony of marriage, the fruits of years of raising children ....the result a wedding day like Amanda and Joe's! I get a chance to learn from those who are in love the most. I see that I can still work and love what I do, and be blessed by the gifts my clients teach me...

I see why God placed the Husnick family in our lives. Friends we love so much. Friends who give so freely. Privileged now to have also met the Hofbauer family. Blessed to have the job i have....to capture the joy of marriage and the hand God places on each and every one of us.

I knew the minute I met Katie she was one of those girls who you just want to know. Sweet, laid back and ALWAYS smiling. Slow to Blog .....yes it's true.

I admit that keeping up on my blogging is not my thing so PLEASE forgive me if i have not added your images to a blog post!

I have been proofing like crazy and enjoying this Crazy season in my life called Chaos. Kids home from school and peak wedding season along with my favorite grandma passing away has made for more than normal chaos. It has been an up and down summer.

I have been blessed with visits from my family in Colorado, friends at the lake, and perfect (my opinion ) summer weather. Work has been amazing and I have loved every minute capturing the joy in each and every wedding. I have had babies, aunties, mamas to be, and seniors in studio and out.
Also some lows as some of you know- my Grandma who I love so much finally let go and with that brings an emptiness to my heart and yet such a sense of peace for her.......Freedom from all she has endured and A spirit flying high in a place so sweet and simple. Perfect in every way.

I want to THANK all of you who supported my family with prayers and well wishes during the last few months of my grandmothers life. She means so much to me and it was unbelievable the kind words people sent my way.

Here is the Little Miss Ava update. She is growing so fast and I love getting to see her each month for her Itty Bitty Baby Session.

I Loved capturing your day. Melissa THANK YOU for being so highly organized. The day went so smooth and this was the only wedding I have shot where everything went exactly on time, just as Melissa had planned.
You guys had a gorgeous wedding party and I loved all of the baby mamas to be in your wedding party. Stunning Flowers, amazing service and reception. Loved watching you Rock the RESERVE down with your dancing......Your grandma was the highlight at center stage!

High Light Two! Wendy and Brian

My sister Wendy was married this past Saturday on the Beach at South Haven. This is a second marriage for Brian and Wendy and I loved the way they included my niece Sofia in the celebration. It was a fun day of celebrating and a perfect West Michigan day. Brian and Wendy are a beautiful couple and this day showed off how stunning they are in looks and love. I love you Wendy and pray for Love and happiness to follow where ever you go.

Sadly my niece Sofia was a bit disappointed when Brian and Wendy returned from their honeymoon.....She was told people can have babies AFTER they are married.....She has wanted a baby sister or brother for so long.......She really thought her mama was going to come home married and bring her a new baby sister or brother........
